sunshine in the woods

Beautiful light and judicious framing.
Great shot!
paul: thanks Rémi - the light was streaming through the leaves, the only difficult bit was choosing which one to photograph!
Fabulous, abstract Nature! At her best.
paul: seeing the picture was a wonderful process. The woodland scene first caught my eye, then I saw a particularly good tree, then I noticed an interesting branch, then I saw the light patterns through the leaves, then I saw the way the light lit up the individual leaves, then.... etc
Great details on this one !!! I love the transparency and this green colour too ...
paul: I should have taken a picture of a leaf in the shade as well to show how the light transformed it
Is that a solar panel, paul?
paul: nature's best
It's good that you have cropped this so as to make it a geometric composition
paul: I tried several variations. I might post one of the extreme detail which makes for a very different feel
Fine detail in this Paul, nice one.
paul: thanks Mick - I have lots of variations on the theme but this seemed the best mix of detail and context
Leaf veins are amazing. I love the way the light shining through this shows up all the detail. This is the colour that comes to mind when I think of May.
Ingrid
paul: I always think of white blossom as encapsulating May, this seems more of a taste of summer to come for me
I'll take it. Sunshine is the word of the day. Fabulous capture.
paul: it's yours. bring on the sunshine!
great details
paul: that was what attracted me Chantal - thanks
Lovely composition Paul with the major lines all spreading out from the base of the frame and well exposed also to keep detail in right through. A nice abstract.
paul: it took a couple of shots to get the exposure right!
super shot Paul with great use of the light and a sweet crop too
paul: a little cliched but I couldnt resist
