nice one Paul, what did you use to create that? like the effect
paul: it is a series of layers superimposed on the original image - it all started with just the one picture
I like the idea of doing this with polaroids - it works well. Have you seen David Hockneys polaroid portraits?
Ingrid
paul: this is a cheat Ingrid. I have seen Hockneys pictures in this style. He is a genius and I spent 1/2 hour messing around in PS learning about clipping masks
No something to do too much of, but certainly suits the subject - interesting.
paul: It was a bit of fun but mostly finding out how clipping masks work
This works well with the busker
paul: it is a good way of hiding unfortunate elements of a picture that you can't be bothered to clone out
Good jigsaw ... good idea but not to be repeated too often. The theme is perfect for this. richard
paul: I can't imagine doing it again, but it was a fun project
I love this. How did you create this Paul?
paul: it is very simple - http://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-effects/polaroids/
Slick idea, well executed, Paul. take a wee trip over to Saltaire, there is a superb David Hockney one there. I stood staring at it for as long as I could (well, it is a female nude!
paul: the answer is, with a lot more skill and vision than was required here David
In general I'm not mad keen on this idea, but this one works really well
paul: just a bit of silliness
An interesting and inventive way of presenting this image, Paul. I have always been in favour of tackling the traditional rectangular image ideal. This is great.
paul: show me a traditional rectangular image ideal and watch me tackle it, and then some
Flickr-tool? Nice collage
paul: no, a little PS tutorial I found on the interweb
Most unusual but very effective collage Paul, I like this. An idea worth trying myself if the right picture comes along.
paul: then check out the link I mention in my reply to Scarlet - some useful tips on that site
Nice shot with an equally impressive dose of creativity ! Neat..
paul: it was a good learning experience anyway
Lovely image and work here
paul: thanks - it was a fun experiment
Very cute!
paul: thanks Nadine - it was something different!
