Very nice in b/w, Paul, I would think its a very photogenic place.
paul: It was a good place to get a view of the city
I really like the strong contrast in your B&W!
paul: you know me, there has to be drama!

Interesting to see this strange and isolated land
paul: It was a really interesting place to visit. It felt like quite a divided society in some respects but in general it can be summed up by something our guide in Havana said - imagine a large set of scales weighing the positives and negatives of the system. There are many many small things to put on the negative side but once you add the few big things that are positive the balance changes dramatically in favour of how the society is arranged.
A great place for photographs
paul: I will try not to bore you with all 800 that I took on the trip smile
It looks less dilapidated in B/W
paul: Interestingly, Old Havana is in much better state than the rest of the city. The apartment we were staying in was beautiful - marble staircase, art deco furniture etc. Right across the road a similar building was just a shell covered in graffiti
There are some fine buildings down there.
paul: Havana is full of fine buildings and many more that are falling apart
