Terrific picture Paul: I wonder how you have achieved this effect?
paul: A duplicate layer with a bit of motion blur added and then masked to reveal the bits I didn't want blurred
This is one of your finest Paul.
paul: thanks Bill, and thanks for the Likey too!

Easy when you know how - but this is all about the light and I guess would have worked just as well without the long exposure. Perfect composition.
paul: actually it was a very short exposure but I thought the waves were a little untidy. If I'd had my tripod with me I would have gone for a long exposure. Without it I had to settle for applying a spot of motion blur in the right places.
Excellent image, Paul!
paul: Thank you Tom. We were driving down from Newcastle and taking the 'scenic' route along the coast when I spotted this scene. Had to stop and catch it
Fantastic shot!!
paul: Thanks John - I've been enjoying your archive. I'd love to visit some of the places you have seen!
Very good indeed, great composition.
paul: the composition suggested itself - that curve is a gift!

Excellent composition . I love the way the causeway sweeps round and ends in the exclamation mark of the lighthouse!
paul: I suppose there must be some practical reason for that fantastic curve but if there isn't then it is justified solely on aesthetic grounds

dont know what treatment you did but i like very much, congrats
paul: it was just a bit of motion blur in photoshop, selectively applied. Thanks
