The end of the world as we know it, Paul! Wonderful and stunning! I love the great expanse of sky and sea.
paul: LOL it does have a hint of that about it Ginnie
This si a very fine photograph, paul. Congratulations.
paul: its funny which shots turn out the best - when I took this one I didn't think it was going to be anything special
I like this very much Paul.
paul: thanks Bill - this is one of several variations with different processing but I liked this version best
May I give you a standing ovation for this one, a likey to me, thank you for sharing.
paul: you are very welcome Astrid, and thank you for the Likey!
great composition
paul: I had some doubts about that big empty sky but it seems to work
simply beautiful
paul: thank you, and welcome to SC!
Simple, effective. like it.
paul: I wonder what it would look like with a sky like the one in your picture today?
Very stark & dramatic
paul: I like drama
i curse grey flat skys Paul as i am not clever enough to change skys in photoshop, that said this one looks superb, glorious shot
paul: changing skies isnt that hard. Finding a new sky that works is harder. This sky is the original one but it was taken just a couple of minutes before yesterdays picture. You don't need to replace a sky to change it!
Great picture Paul, almost mon with a hint of colour here and there. Good stuff.
paul: I took a beautiful blue sky and made it dull
Very simple, very tranquil... Delightful.
paul: thank you monika. The day in question was anything but tranquil but I'm glad our inner turmoil didn't infect the picture
powerful clean shot
paul: it has been played about with quite a lot but the essence was clear at the start
This somehow manages to look very lonely and abandoned. Great atmosphere!
paul: thanks Martin, I think the big empty sky helps with that effect
Ooohh, it would certainly make it more dramatic. However, I like your pic just as it is! :O)
paul: thanks smits
