For the past few years we have been attempting, in our campervan, to visit every traditional county in Britain. Not the nasty modern versions but those identified by the great Russell Grant in his seminal book 'The Real Counties of Britain'. Wales was completed last year after we finally found a reason to go to Flintshire. This weekend we completed our last 3 English counties. Just 10 or so Scottish ones to go!
It seems fitting that we ended our English quest on the south coast with these cliffs (on the anniversary of the Birling Gap toxic gas cloud too. Thankfully there was no repeat this year).
