A walk around the snickelways of York

Coming out of Precentor's Court in front of the Minster we turn left into Dean's Park. This isn't a snickelway but it is a lovely quiet pathway that takes us to the Minster Library. The Library is all that is left of the 13th century Archbishop's Palace which is where Richard III invested his son as Prince of Wales in 1483

And still not another soul to be seen
paul: actually there was another party following the same guide book just behind me. I had to keep speeding up to keep ahead
Quite a lot of memorial wreaths in that building at the front.
paul: there is always a reason to lay a memorial wreath sad
How wonderful! A bit like coming through the wardrobe...
