The Carlos Olmos Ensemble opened the afternoon music on the main stage and then headed off to play another set in the Great Hall. I like these intimate sessions and their relaxed and creative style had us following them for more.
The sax/flute player Julie Kjaer had such a rich and gorgeous tone so we bought her CD. She did warn us that it was more 'experimental' music but that didn't prepare us for the discordant sqwuarks we found we had bought.
