still standing

This is a photo of my friend Mark wearing the mask that was made for him as part of his radiotherapy.

I'll be gone for a couple of weeks - exploring Scotland in our new campervan

This is an amazing image Paul - I hope he got well soon!

May the weather be kind to you out there in your new van

Radiotherapy? I've never seen anything like this, Paul. It actually looks very Hannibalistic. Scary!

Enjoy your time in Scotland. I expect fantastic pictures on your return. smile
paul: I thought it had a look of chainmail!
I'm looking forward to having some time for pictures - it has been in short supply recently

Good heavens it looks almost medieval Paul.
paul: Thats what I thought too - except in real life it is a light purple in colour which give it a modern feel. Still an instrument of torture though
Wow! Never seen anything like it! Enjoy your hols.
paul: Nor me. As my friend says, the idea seems to be to poison you to just before the point of death in the hopes of killing off the bad stuff. This plastic mould is the modern equivalent of medieval armour in that battle.
