fallen leaves

Sorry for the prolonged absence, its been a difficult time. My Mum died and I have been trying to process that. I used to love taking photos every day but have hardly picked up a camera for months. This day was a good one though. Caroline and I made our annual pilgrimage to Thorp Perrow to see the autumn colours. It was a week or two back but I'm just getting round to sorting the photos.

I'm sure I have lots of wonderful photos to catch up on from all of you good people in SC land. I hope to get back into the habit of posting myself

This is lovely Paul, the inclusion of the figures gives it all a sense of scale.

Sorry to hear about your Mum, the process you are going through happens to everyone, it is a rite of passage..
My condolences on the loss of your mother. It is a very hard process, grieving, but good memories will win in the end. Time does heal.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mum's passing. Its something that takes time to get over. Its lovely to see those golden leaves on the trees; something that hasn't really happened where I am in Bristol. The trees seem to be yellow - it must be the lack of frost so far. Take care.
Losing ones Mum is very hard Paul, it takes quite a while to get used to the idea but suddenly that day will come without you realising it. In the meantime this is a lovely tunnel of autumn colours.
I am so sorry to hear about your mother... and glad you are going back to the camera...
